2010 Sticks and Stones Rock Off Bouldering Competition

Looking to throw down and do some cranking? If so head on up to Sticks and Stones in Rexburg Idaho and enter the Bouldering Competition they are holding. Here are the details:

  • Sticks and Stones 49 E. Main St. Rexburg, Idaho 83440
  • March 20, 2010, climbing starts at 10:00 AM
  • Registration is $10 in advance or $15 at the door
  • There will be three skill level categories:
    • Beginner (V0-V2)
    • Intermediate (V3-V5)
    • Advanced (V6+)

CRUXMAS Bouldering Comp

The Front Boise Climbing Club will be hosting the CRUXMAS Bouldering Competition on December 12th! This is an ABS competition but is open for everyone. The competition will cost $35 and be held from 11am to 2pm. Members of the Front will receive a $5 discount. We will have vendors on site as well as prizes from sponsor… such as: Asana, ESH, Evolv, Mountain Hard Wear, Sierra Sage, Smith Sunglasses, and The North Face. Come down and see how we throw a competition! For more details and pre-registration, please visit www.frontboise.com.

Full Gravity Day 9

The Spire Climbing Center in Bozeman Montana is having their annual Full Gravity Day climbing comp on November 7th. If you are looking for a little fun and a road trip head on up and partake of all the goodness climbing comps offer. You can get more information on the comp by checking out Spire Climbing Center’s new page.

Hosted by the Spire Climbing Center of Bozeman Montana and the Bozeman Climbing Team, Full Gravity Day 8 drew more than 180 competitors from all over the mountain-west. With DJAJ and TRE on the decks spinning the finest rhythms all day long, routes were sent, climbs were shared and a great time was had by all. Join us in person this November for the next installment of Full Gravity Day.

The real information on these areas can be found in Eastern Idaho Sweet Spots 2nd Edition. Matt TeNgaio and Jerry Painter have done a great job compiling information on these areas for us to enjoy. Check out the Sweet Spots Second Edition sample. You can also buy a copy.

Unfortunately running this site costs. If you find this site useful please consider donationg to help keep it going.

If you don’t want to donate to the site but would like to donate to the local climbing community consider donating and note that you want the donation to go to hardware and what area you would like to see it used at. I know that Matt TeNgaio has a new wall upstram from the South Park wall that could use some gear. Dean Lords is always putting up routes and I am sure he would welcome a donation for hardware. Finally, Massacre Rocks can always use new gear.
